NCM Encryption community string does not match NPM

I am attempting to perform a inventory on select Cisco network devices.  We changed the SNMP community strings this week and many of the devices in NCM appear to not have updated correctly.  If I look at the device settings in NPM, I can see I am configured with authentication SHA1 encryption to AES-256 and the test passes.  It seems all of the devices that are configured with encryption of AES-256 are not recognized by the NCM.  If I look at the properties of any of the devices that have AES-256 it states Encryption Type None.  Any of the other devices I have configured with AES-128 appear as Encryption Type AES and can be inventoried.  Any of the devices that have AES-256 give an error of Device Does Not Respond to SNMP Queries when I try to inventory them.  I do not know if this worked prior to changing the credentials on our devices, but NPM is fine with 256 encryption as all of my devices are monitored correctly.  Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance.
