I am running NCM 7.3 and I have around 20 Cisco switches in my network. I have added all these switches in the configuration Management, so that NCM can back up the running and start up config from the switches.But when I am trying to download the config of the switches from the NCM (either manually one by one, or through a job scheduled to back the config of all these switches..) I am seeing very random behavior. Like the config back up works fine in some switches for one day... but not in the other days. For some it is not working at all. While for others.. some of them are able to back up Startup config and not the running config, while for others it is just the vice versa. For some of the days config back up does not work for any of the switches. However when I tried to back up the configs to a TFTP server from a switch CLI, I was successfully able to do so. Thus it does not seem to be a switch issue. I am not able to define a specific pattern .. to troubleshoot further.Would appreciate any further guidance on this.
