NCM with two Polling Engines - how to exclude one from jobs?

We use Orion NPM o monitor thousands of nodes and we use NCM to store a copy of our device configurations (among other things) once a month.  Over the past year we added an additional external polling engine, split off the database to a stand-alone VM and upgraded to 11.5.2 and NCM 7.4 from much older versions.  I recently noticed that NCM was no longer downloading and caching configs.  It seems like at some point (apparently when we upgraded to the newer version) all of the nodes were removed from the Job which runs once a month to pull down the configs.  So the job is still running once a month, but no nodes are part of the job so it ends with no results.  When I tried to go back into the job to re-add the nodes I get to the "Enter Notification Details" tab I get an error which says "The same path must be available on all pollers" and I can't go beyond that.  I don't want to have this job run on the second Poller though, we bought that Poller for a different purpose and wont be using NCM on there.  I can't seem to find a way to remove the external poller from this job so it is allowed to complete.  (I'm going to try to add that path to the Poller anyways to see if that gets rid of this error - but I'm having trouble getting into it remotely right now and that isn't really the larger problem here).

Am I missing something or do NCM jobs need to automatically run on all attached polling engines?
