Hi as you may have realised I'm new to NCM.
One of our team installed NCM and could not get the simple function of downloading our Running or Startup configs from our ASA's.
I rang support and after 2 weeks received this;
This function works if you have a correct template, this is not something wrong with the product but the way you have configured it.
Correct device template is needed in NCM like wheels are needed in a car, if a car has no wheels you can't drive it and same goes for NCM.
If NCM has an incorrect template it is not able to get the information because you have misconfigured the commands.
NCM and its functionality works correct, and you have to create a template for your device to make sure we can connect to it and get information from it.
Can someone give me the basic or a starting point to fix my issues ?
