Hi All,
I've been playing with NCM for the past couple weeks, and I'm amazed at all it can do. But I do have an issue with something and I can't get around it.
Situation:
I have HP ProCurve and ArubaOS switches.
I can push up a saved config, but it only adds/overwrites what is currently on the switch. It's great for adding cli commands, or overwriting a mistake.
Potentially, there could be CLI commands thrown at the switch I'm not aware of, so I want to just erase the startup-config and push a clean config to the switch.
If I push an erase statup-config command, the switch reboots, no IP or config, and it's dead in the water.
How can I push an erase of the startup-config and then push a new config without losing connection? Is it even possible? Will I have to TFTP a config up instead of scripting the change?
Thanks.
Chris
