Script to automate setting username, password, enable password for a particular node

All,

In NCM we have approx. 100 nodes. Each node has a local login account created on it and that account is the same for all network devices in that location.  The password and enable password, however, is different for every node.

We have another tool that stores these passwords and allows us to "check out", "check in", and reset the password in the event the node is no longer talking on the network and we have to console into it.  Otherwise we just use Solarwinds.

We are looking to go to a new tool that manages our passwords and it can automagically reset the password in itself and on our cisco switches, but it doesn't know how to "talk" to NCM to set the password there.  It could possible "learn" how if we gave it some kind of script to run, however.

So my question is...Is it possible from the command line to perform a script that does something like this?

Where node = nodename,

set password = <some variable>

set enablepassword = <some variable>

???

Please let me know if you need additional information.  I've never done any scripting in Solarwinds but I am familiar with coding, batch files/etc.
