We have redundant internet egress points at two sites that are linked by dual 10Gb links. Currently if service to one provider goes down, we have to manually change default route in our cores to flip internet routing out the other link.
We'd like to automate that change using NCM. Ideally, if NPM sees BGP down to ISP, then it would trigger config change to cores that flips the default internet route.
Can this be done with NPM and NCM, or is it too much of a stretch?
Edge routers are Cisco 4451s, Cores are Cisco 9Ks.
